PugSpeak's First Pug Parliament

PugSpeak hosted the first-ever greater Kansas City Pug Parliament was held on Aug. 13, 2003 at the courtyard of Homer's Coffee House, Overland Park, KS. We couldn't have ordered up a better evening for the pug event. Pugs and their owners came from both Kansas and Missouri to meet, share information, swap pug and owner stories, and get to know each other. Friendships formed that evening and the pug community continues to grow.

We'd like to thank pug pop and chief photographer, Lowell Crissman, for capturing the pug gathering on film and a special thanks to Claire and Hunter Breckenridge for all their help in coordinating our first Pug Parliament!

They came from Kansas and Missouri
Pugs talked about their owners... And owners talked about their pugs!
It's a pug-tangle! Pugs discussed political views and social issues
Some had to take a breather from the party Others wanted to get to know each other better!
